Descripción:
4-Ethynyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is a carboxyl compound that is substituted with a pyridine ring. This cyclic compound can be synthesized from the reaction of 4-ethynylphenol and formaldehyde. It can also be synthesized by the cyclocondensation of ethyl acetoacetate and phenylacetone with copper (II) sulfate. The substitution of the carboxyl group on this molecule makes it an effective reagent for the synthesis of esters.
