Descripción:(Prop-2-yn-1-yl)(sulfamoyl)amine is an organic compound with the formula (CH3CH2)2NCH2SO2NH. It is a white solid that is soluble in water, ethanol, and ether. This molecule has a diameter of 1.7 Å and contains two sulfamoyl substituents on the same amine group. The intramolecular hydrogen bond between the two sulfamoyl substituents stabilizes this molecule by providing additional hydrophobic interactions. The polymerized form can be seen under microscopy as polymeric rods or spheres with a diameter of about 2 nm to 10 nm. (Prop-2-yn-1-yl)(sulfamoyl)amine can be used to synthesize monomers for polymers, monosubstituted vinyl alcohols, and copolymers with other monomers including styrene and methyl methacrylate.
