• Descripción: ZL0420 is a histone lysine protein inhibitor. It is a small molecule that binds to the bromodomain and inhibits the interaction of histone H3 with the dextran sulfate, preventing transcriptional activation. ZL0420 has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo. It also inhibits inflammatory gene expression in cultured human colon cells and reduces inflammation in mice with bowel disease. ZL0420 is currently being studied for its potential to treat inflammatory bowel disease and other conditions such as cancer, which are characterized by aberrant epigenetic changes.
