IDO-IN-4 is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits the activity of IDO. It is a research tool for cell biology researchers and pharmacologists. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme IDO (indoleamine 2,3 dioxygenase) which is responsible for breaking down the amino acid tryptophan. In doing so, IDO-IN-4 blocks the production of serotonin, which can lead to depression or other mood disorders.
