Descripción:NADPH oxidase 1 substrate is a chemical compound that is capable of inducing cytosolic Ca2+ release and mitochondrial membrane potential disruption. It has been shown to have potent antitumor activity in vivo and an ability to inhibit the growth of various types of cancer cells. NADPH oxidase 1 substrate can be used as a biomarker for oxidative stress, as well as an indicator of cardiac health. The pharmacokinetic properties of this compound are not known; however, it has been shown to be able to cross the blood-brain barrier in mice.
