Descripción:
2-Amino-3-hydroxypyridine is a chemical that belongs to the group of pyridine compounds. This substance has been shown to bind to skin cells and is chemically stable in many conditions, including UV irradiation. 2-Amino-3-hydroxypyridine can be used as an antimicrobial agent, with binding constants for copper complexes and hydrogen bonds. It has also been shown to have anticancer properties by inhibiting cell proliferation through inhibition of DNA synthesis.
