Descripción:Atlox 4862 is a synthetic hydrophilic surfactant with a trifluoromethyl group that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of oil spills. Atlox 4862 interacts with the surface tension of water, which makes it an effective dispersant for oil spills. The hydrophobic and hydrophilic nature of Atlox 4862 allows it to interact with both oil and water molecules. Atlox 4862 is composed of a c1-4 alkyl group that has been modified by the addition of nitro, ethyl group, chlorine, or benzofuran derivatives. These groups are found on the end of the molecule and are responsible for its surfactant properties.
