5-Amino-2-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is an electron-rich heteroaromatic molecule that is highly reactive and electrophilic. It has been shown to be cytotoxic in experimental models of cancerous cells, and can interact with other molecules in the body to form fibrillary structures. 5-Amino-2-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is structurally similar to many aromatic amines, which are known to have physicochemical properties that make them useful reagents for chemical synthesis.
