Descripción:3-Acetyl-6-methylpyridine is a chemical compound that has been found to have antibacterial properties. It can be used for the treatment of bacteria in wastewater and other biological treatments. 3-Acetyl-6-methylpyridine is insoluble at room temperature, but becomes soluble when heated to 100 degrees Celsius. This chemical compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli. 3-Acetyl-6-methylpyridine also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
