It has been shown to be involved in the regulation of cancer, as well as having some anti-inflammatory activities. H-Arg-Ile-OH acetate salt also has been shown to inhibit the production of fatty acids and coagulation factors by inhibiting serine proteases and thromboplastin activity, respectively. H-Arg-Ile-OH acetate salt may have an important role in regulating blood clotting by preventing fibrinogen from converting to fibrin, which leads to clot formation.
