Descripción:H-Arg-Lys-OH acetate salt is a cyclic peptide that has been shown to have antimicrobial activity. It is an immunomodulator that has been shown to reduce the progression of autoimmune diseases by regulating the production of IgG, IgM and IgA. This drug is also a potent inhibitor of 2-adrenergic receptors in neuro2a cells and inhibits the release of IGF-I. H-Arg-Lys-OH acetate salt has been shown to be effective against infectious diseases such as meningitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia. It also inhibits proteolytic enzymes produced by bacteria, which may result in tissue damage.
