Información del producto
N-(4-Acetylphenyl)-2-chloroacetamide (ACP) is a pharmacological agent that has been used to study the antioxidant function of coumarin derivatives. ACP has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells, and it inhibits tyrosinase activity in melanocytes. This compound also has inhibitory activities against many microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi. The chlorine atom in ACP may cause toxicity by reacting with chloride ions present in cells, leading to inhibition of cell growth or causing DNA damage. This compound is synthesized from chloroacetic acid and acetyl chloride, and it contains a dihedral angle of 120° between the two molecules. It can be classified as an amide because one of the carbon atoms forms an amide bond with the nitrogen atom. It also contains a carbonyl group that can react with hydroxyl or amino groups on other compounds. ACP contains functionalities such as an amide group
