Descripción

Alinidine is a drug that has been shown to have beneficial effects on the heart. It was found to reduce the rate of atrial, ventricular and diastolic cardiac contractions. Alinidine also had a positive effect on the heart rate and blood pressure, as well as improving structural analysis in papillary muscles. The drug has been shown to reduce myocardial infarct size in animals and protect against coronary artery occlusion in humans. Alinidine has been found to be effective when combined with propranolol for patients with myocardial infarcts.
