3-Amino-4-chloroquinoline is an aminoquinoline that has been shown to be a potent adjuvant for vaccines. It is usually used in combination with other adjuvants, such as aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate or alum. 3-Amino-4-chloroquinoline has been found to enhance the immune response to the vaccine by stimulating antigen presentation and inducing antibodies against the vaccine. This drug can also be used as an anticancer therapeutic and chemotherapeutic agent. 3-Amino-4-chloroquinoline has been shown to have a number of effects on cancer cells, including inhibiting cell growth and inducing apoptosis. The exact mechanism of action is unknown but may be due to its ability to induce chemokines and inhibit protein synthesis.
