Anthanthrene is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of chemical substances. It is a small molecule with two aromatic rings and one nitrogen atom. Anthanthrene has been shown to interact with cationic surfactants, which are used in products such as soaps, detergents, and toothpaste. The interactive effects of anthanthrene on the cationic surfactant was determined by measuring the light emission from anthanthrene in the presence of surfactants. The effect of anthanthrene on lung fibroblasts was studied using a fluorescence assay. Anthanthrene can also be used as an anticancer drug to treat skin cancer cells in vitro.
