Información del producto
2-Amino-N-(2-bromophenyl)benzamide is a pyridine compound that is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It has been shown to have diagnostic and mechanistic properties, as well as inhibitory effects on the electron transfer reaction in the mitochondria. 2-Amino-N-(2-bromophenyl)benzamide binds to the active site of acetylcholinesterase and blocks the substrate’s access to it. This inhibits cholinergic transmission in both invertebrates and vertebrates. 2-Amino-N-(2-bromophenyl)benzamide has also been shown to be an isomeric mixture that consists of two isomers, with one being more potent than the other. The less potent isomer can be converted into its more potent counterpart by a series of reactions involving electron ionization, translational, and amide bond cle
