Descripción:
2-Amino-thiobenzamide is a biomolecule that belongs to the group of condensation products. It has been shown to be an effective insecticide against nematodes and acarids. 2-Amino-thiobenzamide can be synthesized by reacting ethyl orthoformate with chlorine in the presence of a catalytic amount of acid. The tautomeric form of 2-amino-thiobenzamide is also known as thioformaldehyde, which has been used in agriculture for many years as a fungicide or herbicide.
