2-Acetamido-5-aminopyridine is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have antidiabetic and anticancer activities. It interacts with the molecular docking analysis to inhibit the interaction between insulin receptor ligand and its receptor, which prevents the activation of tyrosine kinase. 2-Amino-5-pyridinecarboxylic acid (2APC) is an organic compound with the chemical formula CH3CONH2CH2CO2H. It can be obtained by recycling acetamidopyridine or synthesized from acetic anhydride and ammonia. The vibrational spectra of this compound are in the infrared spectrum range, which has been used for molecular docking analysis to identify its interaction energies with other compounds.
