2-Amino-N,N-diethylbenzenesulfonamide is an aniline derivative that can be used as a nitro compound or electron donor. It is made from 2-aminobenzenethiol and diethylaminosulfonyl chloride, which are reacted in the presence of sodium hydroxide to produce the desired product. The conversion yields high yields of this product. 2-Amino-N,N-diethylbenzenesulfonamide reacts with nitro compounds to produce nitrosamines, which have various industrial uses. This reactant also has electron donating substituents that allow it to be used as a good electron donor.
