Amyl potassium xanthate is an inorganic chemical that has an acidic ph and is used to treat iron deficiencies. It contains a chemical species, which can bind to the metal ions on the surface of the magnetic particles. The chemical reactions then occur at the particle's surface, leading to a decrease in acidity and dissolution of pyrite. Amyl potassium xanthate also binds with fatty acids and glycerin, which are then taken up by the microelectrophoresis.
