Descripción:Acid Red 57 is a reactive dye that is used for wastewater treatment. The Langmuir adsorption isotherm and the kinetic data show that Acid Red 57 has good thermodynamic stability and chemical stability in acidic conditions. The kinetic data also shows that this dye has an exothermic reaction, with an activation energy of about 28 kJ/mol. Acid Red 57 can be synthesized by the condensation of 2-amino-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid with 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-dimethoxybenzidine or 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine.
