Descripción:3-Aminopiperidine is an amine that can be synthesized by the reaction of trifluoroacetic acid and hydrochloric acid with primary amines. 3-Aminopiperidine inhibits the enzyme catalysis of aromatic hydrocarbons, which are a precursor to the formation of aryl halides. These reactions are catalyzed by an enzyme called nitrile hydratase. 3-Aminopiperidine has been shown to have therapeutic effects on inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and ulcerative colitis. The drug also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties that may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
