Descripción:
N-Acetyl-3-acetoxy-5-phenylpyrrole (NAPAP) is a fluorescent dye that is used as a biomarker for the diagnosis of urinary tract infections. It is also used in the preparation methods of urinalysis and can be used to detect nitrite in urine. NAPAP has been shown to have an effect on diabetic nephropathy, with the treatment effect being dependent on the population screened. It has been shown that NAPAP can be detected by colorimetric analysis and validated by testing.
