4-Amino-2,6-dichloropyridine (4ADC) is a nucleophilic compound that can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemical compounds. It has been shown to have good absorption properties and can be used to measure the concentration of 4ADC in a sample. This compound is also useful for determining the number of molecules present in a solution. The chemical structure of 4ADC consists of a pyridine ring with two identical amino groups, which are located on opposite sides of the ring. The two isomers are called para-4ADC and meta-4ADC. The para-isomer has two substituents on the same side of the ring while the meta-isomer has one substituent on each side. The para-isomer is more reactive than the meta-isomer because it has an additional electron withdrawing group, which makes it more nucleophilic.
