Descripción:5-Amino-3,4-dimethylisoxazole (5AIDMI) is a choline analog that is a substrate for the reaction rate with heterocyclic amines to form carcinogenic compounds. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on sulfathiazole uptake and hydrolysis by protonation. 5AIDMI also inhibits the uptake of amines in the brain by oriented molecules and fatty acid dihedrals. 5AIDMI has also been shown to be effective against gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors and is used as a research tool for studying GABA receptor function.
