Descripción:
2-Amino-3,5-dibromo-benzenemethanol is a chemical intermediate that is used for the preparation of the drug aminorex. This product has been shown to be a potent stimulant and appetite suppressant. It has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. 2-Amino-3,5-dibromo-benzenemethanol is also known as 3,5-DBMB or 3,5-Dibromoaminobenzenemethanol. It can be purified by filtration and recrystallization techniques and can be prepared in the form of hydrochloride injection pharmaceuticals.
