4'-Aminobenzanilide is a benzonitrile derivative that has been shown to have antiproliferative effects. It is an innovative and potent anticancer agent, which has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro. 4'-Aminobenzanilide has a potent inhibitory effect on cell proliferation by binding to the DNA and inhibiting DNA synthesis. It also inhibits protein synthesis in cancer cells, which leads to cell death. 4'-Aminobenzanilide has been shown to have strong inhibitory effects against MMC-7 breast cancer cells. This drug also inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), leading to a reduction in cell damage from oxidative stress.
