TCFP is a pyrazole ring with a sulfinyl group and a chlorine atom. TCFP has been shown to have no genotoxic or carcinogenic potential in vitro and in vivo studies. TCFP is not active against infectious diseases. TCFP can be used as an analytical reagent for the detection of cytochrome P450 activities in human serum.
