Descripción

2-Amino-6-methylbenzothiazole (2AMBT) is a molecule that can be used to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It is an enzyme inhibitor that binds to the active site of pyogenes, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of collagen and elastin. The fluorescence properties of 2AMBT make it a useful probe for fluorescence techniques, such as proton and hydrogen bond measurements. 2AMBT has been shown to have anticancer properties against a variety of cancers, including prostate cancer and breast cancer.
