Descripción:3-Acetoxy-2-naphthanilide is a reactive chemical that reacts with basic dyes, crosslinkers, and other compounds. It has been used in the treatment of lymphocytic leukemia cells in vitro. 3-Acetoxy-2-naphthanilide also inhibits the enzyme activities of acetylcholinesterase and phosphatases, suggesting that it may be useful for treating myelogenous leukemias. 3-Acetoxy-2-naphthanilide is also used to dye agarose gels in order to visualize DNA bands during electrophoresis.
