b-Alanine ethyl ester hydrochloride is an antioxidant that can be used for regenerative medicine. It is a nucleophilic, antioxidant compound that has been shown to have antioxidant effects on cells in tissue culture. b-Alanine ethyl ester hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit the production of histones and methylation of lysine residues in vitro. This compound may also exhibit antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pyogenes and S. aureus.
