Descripción:
4-Amino-3-bromoquinoline is a nociceptin analog that can be used to study the mechanisms of pain transmission. 4-Amino-3-bromoquinoline is an organic compound that belongs to the group of pyridine derivatives. It has a number of isomeric forms and yields, which depends on the starting reactants and reagents used in its synthesis. The nucleus of this molecule consists of two nitro groups. 4-Amino-3-bromoquinoline reacts with hydroxylamine to form 4-nitroquinoline-n-oxide, which can be converted into amide by reacting with ammonia. This compound has been shown to have corrosion inhibiting properties, making it useful as an additive in paints and coatings.
