It binds to intracellular targets, such as gabapentin and ester hydrochloride, with high resistance to matrix effects. 4-Aminocyclohexanecarboxylic acid has been shown to have a stable complex with cyclohexane ring diameters of 5.5 nm or less in human serum. This stable complex is suitable for LC-MS/MS analysis using an optimized lc-ms/ms method for clinical studies.
