Descripción:Acetyl-L-isoleucine is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the dehydrogenase enzyme. It can be synthesized from acetyl chloride and isomers of L-isoleucine in the presence of a metal catalyst, such as trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. Acetyl-L-isoleucine can also be used in protein synthesis and hydrolysis reactions. The ability of this molecule to bind to metal ions may also account for its antioxidant properties.
