Descripción:O-Anisic hydrazide is a synthetic compound with anti-diabetic properties. It has been shown to inhibit the hepatic glucose production and increase insulin release in vivo. The molecular weight of o-anisic hydrazide is 196.2 g/mol. The copper complex was prepared by reacting copper(II) nitrate with o-anisic hydrazide in methanol solution. The molecular geometry of the molecule can be described as a dihedral angle of 180° and a planar structure, which is supported by spectroscopic data such as liquid chromatography (LC), simulations, and assays. O-Anisic hydrazide has been found to have high affinity for a number of metal ions, including Cu(II), Ag+, Pb(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Al(III) and Fe(III).
