Información del producto
- Ferrocenylamine
Aminoferrocene is a redox active molecule that is used for biological studies. It has been shown to be synthesized by reacting trifluoroacetic acid and methanol in the presence of ferrocenecarboxylic acid. Aminoferrocene is a member of the group p2 of organometallic compounds with an electron-rich carbon atom. Aminoferrocene has been shown to bind to mitochondrial membranes, which may be due to its ability to interact with hydrogen bonding interactions, as well as its chemical stability. The reaction mechanism for aminoferrocene is not yet known, but it has been proposed that it may involve intramolecular hydrogen transfer or protonation.
