5-Amino-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid is a synthetic compound that binds to benzodiazepine receptors and can be used in the treatment of epilepsy. It is an effective dose for the treatment of seizures, with a chemical ionization detection limit of 0.5 ng/mL. The sample preparation involves dissolution in organic solvent and microsphere production by organic acids. The oral dosage form is an orally administered tablet, which releases 5-amino-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazole-4 carboxylic acid over time. It has been shown to have similar effects to diazepam, but with a shorter duration.
