4-Aminocyclohexanol is an organic compound with the molecular formula CH3N(CH2)4NH2. It has a cyclohexane ring, which contains a hydroxyl group on carbon number 3. The molecule has two hydrogen atoms that are bonded to this hydroxyl group, and one hydrogen atom that is bonded to carbon number 4. This cyclohexane ring is also attached to a nitrogen atom via a double bond. The molecule has three methyl groups and one amino group, which are all attached to the same carbon as the nitrogen atom. 4-Aminocyclohexanol has been tested in flow systems and found to have kinase selectivity within cell cytoplasm. It was also shown through NMR spectra that it can form intramolecular hydrogen bonds with fatty acid molecules, including methyl anthranilate. This compound should be used with care due to its potential for causing skin irritation when exposed to hydrochlor
