Información del producto
2-Aminoimidazole hydrochloride is a plant disease inhibitor that belongs to the group of imidazole derivatives. It inhibits the growth of fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, which is an essential component in fungal cell walls. 2-Aminoimidazole hydrochloride has been shown to be effective against many fungi, including Fusarium oxysporum, Aspergillus niger, and Trichoderma viride. This chemical agent also inhibits the production of nitro and aldehyde compounds that are responsible for plant diseases. The molecular modelling study showed that 2-Aminoimidazole hydrochloride binds to the active site of alkoxycarbonyl reductase and blocks its activity. The crystal structure analysis revealed that this compound interacts with DNA by forming hydrogen bonds with the pyrimidine base G (guanine).
