2-Methyl-4-trimethylsilyl-3-butyn-2-ol is a small molecule that contains two trimeric, homoleptic ligands. This molecule has been shown to bind to palladium and form a complex. The complex was shown by X-ray analysis to be a dimer with two bridging ligands. The intramolecular hydrogen bonds are in the form of coordinated hydrogen atoms, which can be seen in the solid state. The intramolecular hydrogen bonds are also present in the gas phase, but these have not been confirmed by X-ray analysis.
