Información del producto
- beta-Alanine, N,N-diethyl-, methyl ester
- Methyl N,N-diethyl-beta-alaninate
Methyl 3-(diethylamino)propanoate (MDAP) is a sweetener that is metabolized in the intestinal tract and has been shown to have a significant effect on intragastric pH. This compound was tested as a test compound for l-phenylalanine, which is an amino acid that can be found in animal proteins. Methyl 3-(diethylamino)propanoate may also increase the absorption of dietary methyl esters, such as those found in fish oils, by reducing the activity of enzymes that break down these compounds. The effects of MDAP on women are not known, but this compound has been shown to affect oxaloacetate metabolism and aspartic acid levels in men.
