Descripción:Benzylimidazolidine is a piracetam analogue that is structurally similar to the parent compound. It has been shown to have nootropic and procognitive effects in mice, and also has potent antiamnesic activity in rats. The amide group is located on the imidazolidine ring and provides a link between the two benzene rings. This structure allows for increased solubility in water, which may be important for oral administration of this drug. Benzylimidazolidine also has a high potency compared to piracetam and its analogues.
