Borane pyridine complex is a chemical compound that contains borane and pyridine. It is a colorless liquid at room temperature. Borane pyridine complex has been shown to be an efficient reducing agent for the reduction of nitro groups in biological molecules such as proteins, polypeptides, amino acids, and amines.
