3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methyl (2S)-2-acetamido-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)propanoate is a new compound that is being investigated for its therapeutic potential in cancer and inflammatory diseases. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of myeloid leukemia cells in vitro and to reduce the size of bladder tumors in mice. 3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methyl (2S)-2-acetamido-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)propanoate inhibits neurokinin 1 receptor activity by binding to it. This inhibition leads to an enhancement of inflammatory diseases.
