N-[2-[Bis(4-fluorophenyl)methylsulfanyl]ethyl]-N-methyl-2-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethanamine (CGS-19755) is an inhibitor of calmodulin, which binds to the calmodulin binding site and blocks the interaction between calmodulin and its target proteins. This drug has a high affinity for the calmodulin binding site, but it also has a low affinity for this site. The drug is lipophilic and interacts with the enzyme in a reversible manner. CGS-19755 can be used as a radioligand to study protein interactions.
