Descripción

1-Boc-4-pyrazoleboronic acid pinacol ester is a novel and innovative compound that has been shown to be an orally active allosteric modulator of the cholinergic M1 receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-8 and TNFα from pancreatic β-cells, which may be due to its ability to induce cell apoptosis. 1-Boc-4-pyrazoleboronic acid pinacol ester is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
