Biphalin trifluoroacetate salt (H-Tyr-D-Ala-Gly-Phe-NH)2 trifluoroacetate salt is a peptide hormone. It has been shown to be an opioid that binds to the μ and δ opioid receptors and inhibits the production of inflammatory mediators.
