4-(1,1'-Biphenyl-4-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2-amine is a bioactive molecule that belongs to the group of thiazoles. It is an experimental drug that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in experiments on mice and rats. 4-(1,1'-Biphenyl-4-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2-amine has also been shown to inhibit the growth of human prostate cancer cells in vitro. The molecular structure of this compound is similar to that of other thiazole compounds and it is thought that the anti-inflammatory activity may be due to its ability to bind with proteins.
