Descripción:
(1,3-Benzothiazol-2-ylmethyl)amine is a copper salt that is used to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to be effective on colon and lung cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. This drug inhibits cell proliferation by inhibiting the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and proteins. The mechanism of action for (1,3-benzothiazol-2-ylmethyl)amine is not fully understood, but it may have an effect on copper homeostasis or copper ion transport.
