[2,2']-Bi[1,3]-dithioylidene is a molecule that has been shown to bind to tumor cells and inhibit their growth. This compound has a high affinity for the thiol groups of proteins or peptides. The binding constant for this compound can be determined by measuring the change in the redox potential when it is bound to the protein. The redox potential changes because [2,2']-bi[1,3]-dithioylidene reacts with an electron from the thiol group to form a new covalent bond. Tetrathiafulvalene plays an important role in transport properties of this compound as it inhibits electron flow through the tetrathiafulvalene bridge. [2,2']-bi[1,3]-dithioylidene binds to a monoclonal antibody and reacts with a monoclonal antibody at specific epitopes on its surface. These
